Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and public Hearing

Erie County - The Town of Marilla, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Stolle Road Solar and Two Rod Road Solar. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on September 12, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at 1740 Two Rod Road Marilla, NY 14102. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until September 23, 2024. The Draft EIS is available from the contact below and online at: https://www.townofmarilla.com/.

The action involves a proposal by Renewable Properties, LLC (RP or Applicant) to construct two Community Distributed Generation Solar Energy Facilities, the Stolle Road Solar Project and the Two Rod Road Solar Project. The two facilities would each produce 4.99 megawatts of alternating current (MWac) power and would interconnect to the existing New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) electrical distribution system. The project is located on Stolle Road and Two Rod Road in the Town of Marilla, New York.
