AUSTIN, TEXAS - Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for October 2024 was down 6.14% compared to October 2023 with 1,915,146 passengers flying during the month.<_o3a_p>

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for October 2024 was 1,915,146, down 6.14% compared to October 2023. October 2024 enplanements totaled 948,951, down 6.39%.<_o3a_p>
Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 769,071, down 3.2%; American Airlines passengers totaled 346,034, down 25.9%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 311,397, up 12.5%; United Airlines passengers totaled 252,736, up 3%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 72,223, up 7.4%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 29,507, down 40.7%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 28,471, up 100.9%; British Airways passengers totaled 18,870, up 5.9%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 16,894, down 50.9%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 15,945, down 41.7%; Air Canada passengers totaled 13,125, up 34%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 9,896, up 63.3%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 6,244, up 6.3%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 6,215, up 14%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 5,495, up 27.2%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 5,449, down -0.7%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 4,092; WestJet passengers totaled 2,123, up 8%; and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 1,359, up 144.9%.<_o3a_p>
October 2024 air cargo totaled 27,218,819 lbs., up 14.72% compared to October 2023.<_o3a_p>
International air cargo totaled 4,773,055 lbs., down 4.45%.<_o3a_p>
Air Transport International carried 9,104,938 lbs., up 92.2%; Federal Express carried 4,529,405 lbs., down 28.3%; Atlas Air carried 3,236,593 lbs., up 6.6%.; United Parcel Services carried 3,027,862 lbs., up 16.2%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 1,769,074 lbs., up 79.9%.<_o3a_p>
Air Services transferred 58,394 lbs. of mail, down 62.11%; and 3,687,735 lbs. of belly freight, up 4.23%.<_o3a_p>
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 4,298, up 10.86%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 23,514, down 4.64%.<_o3a_p>

Air Services transferred 568,164 lbs. of mail, down 78.63%; and 34,239,225 lbs. of belly freight, up 16.8%.<_o3a_p>
