JACKSON COUNTY - Crews will perform pavement repair work at various locations on NB/SB MO Route 7 from Colbern Rd. in Lake Lotawana, MO to Bird Ave. in Harrisonville, MO evening and overnight, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., through mid-Oct. 2024.

PROJECT UPDATE: Wednesday, July 24

  • Crews on this project will be working between Colbern Road in Lees Summit and Pleasant Hill beginning approximately July 24. Work in this area is scheduled to take approximately 3-4 weeks.

This work will require a flagging operation with a pilot car at various locations in the project area, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., evening and overnight.

This will not be a complete closure of NB/SB MO 7 and one lane will remain open at all times. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of a larger project to repair and resurface NB/SB MO 7 from Colbern Rd. in Lee's Summit to Bird Ave. in Harrisonville through mid-Oct. 2024. More updates will be shared on the location of the work as they become available.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
