TITUSVILLE, FLA. (June 27, 2024)-Parrish Medical Center (PMC) is proud to announce a record-setting year of extraordinary successes-a post-pandemic resurgence punctuated by growth, expansion, and enhancement of programs and services for the benefit of the North Brevard community.
Undaunted and unrelenting in its focus on fulfilling its mission, North Brevard's Parrish Medical Center continues to serve as a resilient and formidable force among independent, public, not-for-profit community health systems in the state of Florida and beyond-all without taxing the community for more than 29 years.

Parrish Medical Center credits its Care Partners (employees, medical staff members, volunteers) and proudly touts the following impressive list of successes achieved in the past year:

  • Recruited more than 50 highly qualified providers to its system and the community, including, but not limited to, Primary Care Providers, Cardiologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, General Surgery, Oncologists, Obstetricians, Mid-Wives, Urologists, Gastroenterologists, Infectious Disease Specialist, among others;
  • First Cleveland Clinic Care Connect member in the U.S., bringing the expertise of tertiary level medical expertise to North Brevard;
  • Earning an "A" Patient Safety Grade from the esteemed patient safety advocacy agency, the LeapFrog Group;
  • Massive $20 million financial turnaround within a single year;
  • Receiving "stellar" results from an Independent Review of Operating Performance as a Florida Special District, as required by Florida Statute;
  • PMC President/CEO Mikitarian named among top Community Hospital CEOs by Becker's Hospital Review for the second consecutive year;
  • Earning a perfect Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center recertification score;
  • American College of Surgeon's Commission on Cancer recertification;
  • American College of Surgeon's Surgical Quality Care Partner;
  • College of American Pathologists Laboratory Accreditation; and
  • Helped to establish Space Coast Health Centers to improve access to care for the under and un-insured.
