Drug Control Units Arrest Suspect with Over 250 Grams of Fentanyl

At about 10:20 AM, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, officers assigned to Drug Control Units of District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury), District D-4 (South End) and the Randolph Police Drug unit, arrested Angel Velez-Grullat, 21, of Randolph, on drug trafficking charges

Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 159 Bittersweet Lane in Randolph. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered approximately 256 grams of Fentanyl, 21 grams of Cocaine, and about $2,547 in US currency.

Velez-Grullat was placed under arrest and charged with Trafficking of Class A, and Trafficking of Class B. He is expected to be arraigned in Quincy District Court.
