MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Delays on Benton County Route BB July 1-3 for Seal …

Where: Benton County Route BB between U.S. Route 65 north of Warsaw and Waterview Drive east of Warsaw

When: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, July 1 until Wednesday, July 3

What: MoDOT crews to seal the road with a mixture of rock and oil. A seal coat is an economical way to maintain and preserve the roadway. The treatments keep a road from deteriorating and will extend its life.

Traffic Impacts:

• Benton County Route BB between U.S. Route 65 north of Warsaw and Waterview Drive east of Warsaw
• Drivers can expect one-lane traffic with flaggers and a pilot vehicle guiding them through the work zones. Drivers on side roads are encouraged to wait for the pilot vehicle before entering the state routes.
• Drivers may be stopped for up to 15 minutes
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
• Local residents will be able to get to driveway and entrances along the road
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
