It’s the Final Days for Seward Johnson Atelier Sculptures in New Brunswick



NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (September 25, 2024) - The iconic Seward Johnson Atelier sculptures that have adorned New Brunswick streets since May 1 are set to sadly depart on Oct. 15. Time is ticking for you to experience these life-size bronze figures and capture a memorable photo.

The sculptures are scattered throughout the city, depicting everyday scenes and activities. You can find a person dressed in a business suit at 75 Bayard St.; individuals engrossed in books at 344 George St. and 392 George St., a trumpet player at 361 George St., a friendly girl waving at passersby at 11 Livingston Ave., and a hot dog vendor at 101 Paterson St.

Created by John Seward Johnson II, the grandson of Johnson & Johnson co-founder Robert Wood Johnson, these life-size sculptures have been featured in private collections, museums, and public spaces around the world.
