Le Bonheur and UTHSC 2024 Faculty Award Winners

Le Bonheur and UTHSC announced the 2024 Faculty Award winners at July's faculty meeting,highlighting our outstanding faculty members and their dedication and commitment to making a difference in their areas of healthcare. The awards program was initiated in 2013 to honor excellence in faculty endeavors in 4 areas critical to our mission…education, clinical care, mentoring, and research.

Nominees are selected by the faculty, and reviewed and selected by the Education Committee, made up of a team of 8 faculty members and pediatric chief residents. The committee received a total of 18 nominations this year and narrowed the selection down to one winner in each category. Awardees can only win each award every 3 years. Listed below are the 4 outstanding recipients.

Each awarded winner was celebrated with a recognition plaque and a monetary award of $5,000.
