Celebrate Black Music Month with a free concert at the Dell Music Center on June 28
Wawa Welcome Americapresents The Black Month 45th Anniversary Celebration Concert & Fireworks.The free concert will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 28, 2024. The performance will take place at the Dell Music Center.Philadelphia music legend Dyana Williams will host the event.
The celebration will feature different types of black music. Some of Philadelphia's most well-known black musicians will perform including:
- Russell Thompkins Jr. of the New Stylistics
- Jean Carne
- Will Hart of Delfonics
- Dexter Wansel
- Princess Idia
- Lady Alma
- Rated Art
- Laurin Talese
- Damon Williams
- Tommy Blackwell & Noorah
- Suzann Christine
- Omar Wilson
- Dwight "Soulman" Smith
- Guordan Banks
Attendees will enjoy incredible music, food, cocktails, and a firework display.
