Shepherd Soccer Players Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV - Six members of the Shepherd University women's soccer team and two members of themen's soccer team have been named to the 2024 CSC (College Sports Information Communicators) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team.

The CSC selects student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Sophomore midfielder Reagan Ackermann (Myersville, Md./Middletown/UNC Wilmington), junior defender Madison Herb(Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood Area/Mansfield), sophomore midfielder Annabelle Wunderlich (Red Lion, Pa./Dallastown Area), senior midfielder Delaney Bittner (York, Pa./Red Lion Area Senior), sophomore midfielder Taylor Schuck (Springfield, Va./West Springfield), and redshirt freshman goalkeeper Hannah Wilt (Saint Leonard, Md./Calvert) garnered Academic All-District honors on the women's team.

On the men's team, junior forward Wesam Abu Rabia (Hedgesville, W.Va./Meitarim) and junior midfielder Asong Nkemanjong (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Howard) received the honor.

To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have played in at least 90 percent of the team's competition throughout the season.
