Nike is bridging style and beauty by collaborating with renowned makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench to create two exclusive colorways of the Air Max Dn: Nike's latest Air Max benchmark in the footwear cushioning revolution the brand began more than three decades ago.

Authentic and aspirational, Ffrench is known for evolving both what beauty and power look like and how they intersect. That takes form in her cosmetics and creative design, propelling her growth as a leading authority on color and texture - appealing directly to women who set the trend, then invite others to build upon their boldness.

Her unique expression of beauty and style meets its match in the Air Max Dn, a shoe with an incomparable look and feel that reflects Nike's commitment to innovation in performance and design, all in service of athletes.

"Beauty has a massive presence in women's sport today," Ffrench says. "It's been inspiring, working with athletes throughout this journey with Nike - and humbling to feel that the things I'm creating are helping these women feel good and give them confidence to perform at their peak."

Ffrench channels that sentiment into her exclusive reimagining of the Air Max Dn silhouette, which leverages a dual-chamber, four-tubed Nike Air unit to deliver unreal comfort, a smooth stride and max bounce in a package that pushes the edges of design and leans into bold color palettes inspired by her beauty products.

"For me, the most inspiring thing about the Dn silhouette is how much opportunity it presents to play with texture, color and materials," Ffrench says. "My favorite parts of the design are probably the rand and heel, where we were able to add metallic tones underneath a glossy acrylic, giving those parts of the shoe an even more extreme and textural look - juxtaposing them against the matte of the upper and sole."

In creating her Air Max Dn colorways, Ffrench drew inspiration from women athletes whose influence extends from the field of play to the fashion world.

"Female athletes show that you can have it all," Ffrench says. "You can have prowess in sport. You can be at the top of your game. You can take an interest in your appearance. You can express yourself in as many ways as you want and still be a top athlete. Beauty doesn't undermine any of that. Beauty actually enhances it."

The Isamaya Ffrench x Nike Air Max Dn will be available globally in beige and chocolate brown at nike.com and select retail partners beginning December 20.
