BPD in the Community: Boston Police Field Day at Ronan Park

Ronan Park in Dorchester was the scene of another awesome BPD Summer Series Field Day!

Officers from District C-11, as well as BPD's: Bureau of Community Engagement, Bicycle Unit, School Engagement Unit, our Cadets, and current academy Recruit Class 64-24, joined forces with local youth for a day of soccer, kickball, basketball, and more!

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the water balloon showdown, where both kids and officers enjoyed some friendly competition and a much-needed cool-down in the summer heat.

To cap off an already tremendous day, the BPD Ice Cream Truck (Thanks to HP Hood and the Boston Police Foundation) showed up to keep everyone cool!
