Oakland Road water outage and lane closure planned for fire hydrant replacement

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned fire hydrant replacement work on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 a.m. that will cause a water outage and low water pressure on Oakland Road from address 435 to 450 Oakland Road.

Low water pressure possible for the vicinity during the work.

The southbound lane on Oakland Road will be closed between address 450 and 435 Oakland Road. Motorists are asked to slow down and follow the directions of flaggers when traveling through the work zone or choose an alternate travel route when possible.

The fire hydrant replacement work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored, and the lane reopened by approximately 4 p.m.
