Street Crimes Unit takes three suspects into custody and seizes drugs and a firearm

On October 15, Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit was set to execute a search warrant at 645 Louis Street. However, minutes before that could happen, a stolen vehicle arrived at the location and there were two wanted subjects inside: 49-year-old Gary Lee Walls, and 38-year-old Dana Marie Stucky. Stucky was dropped off at the residence just as SCU was about to conduct the warrant service. Walls left in the stolen vehicle.

SCU shifted gears quickly and requested help from EPD Patrol to get the stolen vehicle stopped and take Walls into custody. Officers took Walls into custody without incident for his outstanding warrant and lodged him at Lane County Jail under Case 24-15632.

Prior to the custody, Walls was on his phone talking with Stucky. A short time later, Stucky left the Louis Street house and went to the traffic stop, where she was then taken into custody for her outstanding warrant and the attempts to locate (ATLs). She was lodged at Lane County Jail for her warrant and ATLs under Case 24-15625.

The vehicle was subsequently returned to the owner. Case 24-15621

During all the commotion, the primary resident and subject of the search warrant, 60-year-old Hali Sue Stucky, also left her home and went to the traffic stop location. Officers also placed her into custody.

The search warrant was conducted without incident as the house was clear of people prior to entry.

The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 544.5 grams (or a smidge over 1.3 pounds of methamphetamine), a .380 caliber firearm, scales, pipes, packaging material, pay owe sheets, currency counter and more than $79,000 in cash. The following charges are pending for Hali Stucky: Unlawful Possession, Distribution and Manufacture Methamphetamine-Commercial Offense, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The case is pending and filed under Case #24-15615.
