Area teens are invited to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day this week by making their own pirate storm globe at the Fargo Public Library. Open to teens ages 11 to 18, the craft event is Thursday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Main Library, 101 4th St. N. A storm globe is like a snow globe, but it contains pirates. All materials will be provided. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Register online or contact the Teen Librarian at 701.298.6960 or email [email protected].
Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public; adults must accompany children ages 9 and younger.
