Woman awakes to hear unknown person in the shower

t 11:17 a.m. on August 16, Eugene Police officers responded to a call from a woman in the west University area reporting an unknown person was in her house, using her shower. She had awakened to hear someone in the shower and got up to investigate. She saw a man, left the apartment, and called police. Upon arrival, officers made several unsuccessful efforts to hail the suspect to come out.

Officers entered the home and made additional attempts to get the unwanted visitor to come out and finally a male began to walk down the stairs, but then reversed and went back upstairs. Officers subsequently located an unclothed man, Isaac Arthur Goodman, age 34, in the shower and he was arrested without incident. He was transported to Lane County Jail and lodged on multiple warrants and a charge of Burglary. Case 24-12075
