Federal Highway Administration Local Aid Support is providing a webinar opportunity titled, "Innovation Practices from the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Centers." It is being held, Thursday, August 15, 2024, 1:00pm-2:00pm CST. Description of the webinar and registration information is following:

Innovative solutions can save local government agencies time and money while improving safety and business practices.

For this Innovation Exchange, you will hear from the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Centers on some out-of-the-box ways they are addressing issues in their states. The purpose of this webinar is to share information that could help other agencies facing similar challenges.

  • Nevada LTAP Center: Carrie Brown (Director) and Luis Sibaja.
    Innovation:The PASER System: gathers data to assist with justifying CIP (Capital Improvement Project) improvements for the roadways.

    Innovation:PPE (personal protective equipment) Program/ Work Zone Safety Kits to encourage increased communication and participation by and from municipalities.

    Innovation:Step-up Alabama, a community engagement program for planning and designing improved pedestrian facilities in historically underserved communities.
