On November 21, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Felix Cortes, age 26, of 760 Manton Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of a Stolen Firearm; 2) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 3) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 4) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 5) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; 5) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance - Psilocybin Mushrooms; 6) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance - Marijuana; and 7) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited. Mr. Cortes was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the ACI Intake Center pending his morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
