I 805/SR 163 Connectors Closed Sunday through Thursday

SAN DIEGO- Caltrans maintenance crews will intermittently close the northbound Interstate 805 (I-805) connector to northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) and the southbound SR-163 connector to southbound I-805 from Sunday, October 6, to Thursday, October 10 for roadway excavation.The northbound I-805 connector to northbound SR-163 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and southbound SR-163 connector to southbound I-805 will be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Northbound I-805 motorists may exit onto eastbound Balboa Avenue and connect to northbound SR-163.

Southbound SR-163 motorists can detour to eastbound I-8 and connect to the I-805 connector ramps.

The maintenance work schedule is subject to change due to weather, traffic incidents, or other maintenance considerations.
