WHAT: State Board of Education Meeting

WHEN: 9 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024

WHERE: Auditorium, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201

The board will continue to receive written public comment via email and postal mail. To ensure State Board members have sufficient time to review the comments, public comments should be received by 9 a.m. September 11, 2024. Comments can be emailed to[email protected]or mailed to the Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Four Capitol Mall, Room 304-A, Little Rock, AR 72201.

Work Session

The board will hold a work session at 1 p.m. September 11, 2024, in the Auditorium at the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201. The board will discuss child maltreatment reporting processes, educator code of ethics and sanctions, and education service cooperative reports.

The work session will not be live streamed.

Committee Meeting

The State Board of Education Committee on Early Learning will meet virtually at 1 p.m. September 23, 2024. The meeting will originate from Conference Room 201-A at the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201.
