Public listening session for Campus Ministry director position, Nov. 12

Campus Ministry will host a public listening session to gather input on what traits are important in the next campus ministry director.

The session will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Lemonis Center for Student Success in room M400-AA.

Rev. Grant Garinger, S.J., campus ministry liturgical coordinator, and Dr. Patrick Kennelly, director of the Center for Peacemaking, are leading the hiring committee. They will attend the session and listen to feedback to help guide their final decision.

Topics for discussion include:

  • Leadership style and qualities
  • Vision for campus ministry and student engagement
  • Skills in fostering community and spiritual growth
  • Other qualities attendees think are critical to the position
