CITY OF WHITE PLAINS ANNOUNCES FIREFIGHTER EXAM White Plains, NY - August 16, 2024.

The City of White Plains is actively seeking a diverse pool of candidates for the March 1, 2025 Firefighter Civil Service Exam. The exam is open to Westchester County residents; however White Plains residents will be given preference in appointment. The salary range is $59,417 - $116,056 (subject to change).

Interested applicants must submit an application by no later than Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 5:00 PM. A printable version of the application is available on the City's website: www.cityofwhiteplains.com.

Free training will be offered for both the written and physical agility portions of the exam. The date and location of the training will be sent to all approved applicants. The City of White Plains is hiring
