Mark Robinson Leads the Pack in Demeaning and Degrading Attacks on America's Women Olympians

As today marks the opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics, new reportinghighlights Mark Robinson's unpatriotic record of insulting and degrading some of America's top Olympic women athletes.

Robinson has a not-so-golden history of attacking and degrading notable women and attacking their rights, and his social media page is littered with hateful rants about the women who are currently and have previously represented the United States at the Olympics:

• Robinson has degraded Simone Biles multiple times, calling her a "little, weak gymnast that quits when the going gets tough" and is "out there flipping around on TV on some monkey bars."
• In 2021, Robinson posted a long rant about the U.S. Women's Soccer team, claiming their loss was because too "many of its players have embraced this wokeness that takes their minds off the game and shatters team unity."
• Robinson's issues with the Women's Soccer team go back to 2019, when he called out Megan Rapinoe for being "an arrogant and disrespectful 'moron,' 'stupid,' and an 'unpatrioritc nitwit.'"
• In 2018, he called Olympic swimmer Lyndsey Vonn a "dummy" in a long Facebook rant.

"While the Olympics only happen every four years, Mark Robinson goes for the gold in degrading and demeaning some of our top women athletes year round,"said DGA National Press Secretary Devon Cruz. "Not only are Robinson's attacks on Team USA unpatriotic and pathetic, but they remind North Carolina of his long record of disrespecting and attacking women."
