Statement from Congressman Krishnamoorthi on Racist Response to Sikh Prayer at Republican National Convention

SCHAUMBURG, IL - Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) issued the following statement regarding the racism and hatred targeted at Republican National Committeewoman Harmeet Dhillon after delivering a Sikh prayer on Monday night at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin:

"The reprehensible and racist response to Republican National Committeewoman Harmeet Dhillon's Sikh prayer on Monday night is completely unacceptable. Discrimination on the basis of race or religion has no place in America, and must be called out and strongly condemned by Democrats and Republicans alike when it occurs."
