Interstate 80 Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center Closed for Facility Evaluations

Motorists are advised that the I-80 Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center in Monroe County is closed as of 5:30 PM today to conduct roof and facility evaluations. Parking areas are also closed, and updates will be provided as details emerge.

Damage was recently identified in the interior of the facility, and officials are evaluating the damage and will develop a repair plan. The facility will remain closed until further notice.

As needed, travelers can use rest stop facilities on I-80 eastbound in Luzerne County and I-80 westbound in Morris County, New Jersey.
