City of Valdosta Main Street Announces Exciting Lineup for Movies in the Park Series

The City of Valdosta Main Street is thrilled to announce the return of the much-anticipated Movies in the Park series! This community favorite will take place at the picturesque Unity Park Amphitheater, (located at 301 E. Central Avenue) offering a perfect setting for families and friends to gather for an evening of entertainment under the stars.

The movies will begin at dusk, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good spot. Admission to the event is free, making it an ideal outing for everyone. In addition to the films, there will be concessions available for purchase, including classic movie snacks to complete the experience.

The lineup for the 2024 Movies in the Park series includes:

• Remember the Titans - September 21, 2024
  Kick off the series with this inspiring sports drama that celebrates teamwork, resilience, and unity.
• Hocus Pocus - October 25, 2024
  Embrace the Halloween spirit and join the festivities of Witches Night Out with this cherished story of three witches and their entertaining adventures in present-day Salem.
• Free Bird - November 16, 2024
  Enjoy this fun animated film that's perfect for the whole family, featuring a pair of turkeys who time travel to change the course of history.
• How the Grinch Stole Christmas - December 14, 2024
  Get excited for holiday cheer coming your way! Celebrate the holidays just right before the year ends with a heartwarming classic that's perfect for all ages. So, get your blankets and hot cocoa ready, and prepare for giggles and cheers!
