SCDOT crews to temporarily close and detour US 378 Off-Ramp to US 602 for road work

​Columbia, S.C. (November 19, 2024)- The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close and detour the US 378 Eastbound off-ramp to US 601 for road work beginning November 21 at 12 p.m. The ramp is expected to reopen on November 22.

As part of this closure, a detour route has been set up. Drivers will stay on US 378 Eastbound and exit at the intersection of Vanboklen Road (SC 263) where they will continue to the roundabout for SC 273 and US 601 in Eastover. Detour signs will be placed in the area to direct drivers.

SCDOT encourages drivers to slow down and stay alert for signs and crews working.​
