City of Cedar Rapids Transit Offers Free Bus Rides on Election Day

City of Cedar Rapids Transit will offer free bus rides on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. Buses will run during regular hours, from 5:30 a.m.-7:15 p.m. Rides will be free to everyone. No proof of voter registration or destination is required to ride for free.

"We hope providing this service to residents will help remove transportation as a barrier, giving those interested the ability to vote," said Brad DeBrower, Transit Manager.
