Ambassador of Thailand to South Korea leads a volunteer activity to commemorate the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary on[...]

On 29 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, led officials and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand agencies, and the Thai community in the Republic of Korea, organized a volunteer activity to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother's Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2024. The activity comprised cleaning of the surrounding area of the Korean War Monument to the Armed Forces of Thailand, located in Pocheon city.

Ambassador also jointly In explored plans for further renovation and preservation work, such as repairing of the roof and tiles and repainting the Thai Pavillion's wall.

The Ambassador also represented the participants in laying a wreath to honor the bravery and sacrifice of Thai soldiers in the Korean War, and also presented the Thai national flags to the representative of Pocheon City to replace the previous one at the Monument.
