The 13th meeting of the Polish-Austrian Mixed Commission for cultural and scientific cooperation was held on 24 June 2024. The Commission reviewed its activities so far and adopted the Programme for Cooperation in the Fields of Science, Education, and Culture for 2024-2028.

The Commission stressed that the date of agreement is emblematic as it coincides with two anniversaries. The Polish Institute in Vienna celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024, while 2025 will mark 60 years of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw.

The cooperation programme was signed on 25 June 2024 by the heads of both delegations: Anna Godlewska, Deputy Director of the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy at the Polish MFA, and Alexander Wojda, representing Austria's Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.
