How New Mexico voted in the 2024 general election

This week, New Mexico in Focus breaks down this year's general election results.

Senior Producer Lou DiVizio goes over the state's congressional contests with a special roundtable of politics experts.

Then, DiVizio reviews the state's many House and Senate races, before asking how New Mexico Democrats plan to provide statewide protections against a potential wave of conservative national policy.

Later, DiVizio asks the roundtable how a second term for President Elect Donald Trump will shape politics at the Roundhouse.

Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver sits down with Executive Producer Jeff Proctor to talk about the state's first presidential election with same-day registration.

NMiF airs on NMPBS 5.1 (KNME HD) on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 10 at 7 a.m. and streaming on the PBS video app.
