A new study reports that women are more likely to return for future breast screening after a true-positive result rather than a false-positive result. Evita Singh, M.D., diagnostic radiologist, director of Breast Imaging and member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, joined the 'JR Morning with Guy, Lloyd and Jamie, to explain what this study means, why some women may not return, and why she makes sure to have that face-to-face conversation with patients so they understand their results and why it's important for them to return for a follow-up, if it is needed, and their mammogram the following year.
