As of today, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, Republic Services is addressing any remaining delays in trash and recycling pickups. Crews have deployed additional resources to ensure all routes are completed promptly.

Important Notes:

• FCC Cart Collection Reminder: FCC is still picking up old trash carts across Rowlett. If your FCC cart hasn't been collected yet, please leave it in its regular pick-up location until FCC retrieves it.

• If there is trash in your FCC cart, that's okay-you don't need to move it. However, moving forward, please only use your new Republic Services carts for trash and recycling.

• Trash days remain the same-please continue using your new Republic carts for all trash and recycling.

• All trash and recycling must fit inside the carts with the lids fully closed.

• Ensure there is enough space between carts for the automated trucks to collect them efficiently.

Current Service Update:

• Republic Services is actively working to complete any missed collections from yesterday's (Tuesday) route.

• Republic is currently experiencing a 45-minute delay on recycling pickups today. Crews will service missed areas starting at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.

• No other Wednesday routes are affected.

• Thursday service will continue as scheduled.
