Soil Remediation Next Week on Route 254 in Turbot Township, Northumberland County

​Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised of lane restrictions next week on Route 254 eastbound in Turbot Township, Northumberland County, for a soil remediation project due to a previous crash.

On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the contractor will be working on Route 254 at the intersection with Route 147. The eastbound lane and shoulder will be closed. Eastbound traffic will be diverted into the westbound lane. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting and is expected to be completed in one day.

Motorists should expect delays and are urged to drive with caution, and watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway.
