Mark Steuer Named Senior Director of Development Services

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling has appointed Mark Steuer as the Senior Director of Development Services for the City of Nampa.

Steuer has been the Director of Strategic Initiatives in Public Works for the last two years, managing the department budget, pursuing infrastructure grants, and supporting the Senior Director of Public Works in various functions.

Mayor Kling shared, "Mark made the decision to relocate to Idaho several years ago and we are so thankful he chose Nampa. Mark has been a valuable part of the team and his expertise will serve our entire community well."

In his new position, which began August 1, Steuer will oversee Building Safety and Code Enforcement, Planning and Zoning, and Development Engineering. Steuer served as Director of Public Works for the City of Irvine, Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer for the City of Riverside, Director of Engineering/City Engineer for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, and 17 years as a Senior Civil Engineer for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, an MBA from the University of La Verne, and is a licensed civil engineer in Idaho.
