The Second Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development

The Board of Directors of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development held its second meeting of 2024, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, The Board Chairman of AAAID, along with the esteemed members of the Board, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at AAAID's Main Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The meeting discussed several important topics, most notably the review of the financial indicators of AAAID's agricultural investment portfolio through dashboards. The Board also discussed the project for establishing a backup data center for AAAID's data storage. Additionally, the Board approved AAAID's strategic plan for the period 2024-2026.

During the meeting, the Board reviewed and approved various regulations and policies aimed at improving work procedures and the governance of the AAAID's operations and its affiliated companies. The Board also reviewed the minutes of the meetings of the specialized committees emanating from the Board and discussed their recommendations, particularly those related to AAAID's financial investments and entering into new investment projects in implementation of the investment operations program approved by the Shareholders' Council.
