TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane closure scheduled on NB 169 in Clay County, Oct. 18 - 31

CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will close one lane on northbound 169 with one lane remaining open starting from a quarter mile from the north end of the Buck O'Neil Bridge to a half a mile northbound on 169 for barrier wall improvements. Southbound 169 is to remain closed for the Buck O'Neil Bridge project. Work will take place on approximately Friday, October 18 at 6:00 am until Thursday, October 31 at 11:59 pm. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
