Meeting with the Ambassador of India
On July 3, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Smita Pant.
During the meeting, the state and prospects for the development of Uzbekistan-India relations in political, trade, economic, investment and other areas were discussed.
The importance of promoting joint projects in the textile industry, IT, education and healthcare was noted.
The sides also negotiated the cooperation issues of two countries within the UN and its specialized agencies, the SCO and other multilateral structures.
