Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7400 Memorial Drive

August 29, 2024- Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7400 Memorial Drive about 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday (August 28).

The identity of the deceased female, 62, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer T. Smith reported:

The female was driving a black Ford Explorer when her vehicle struck a white trailer that was disabled and unoccupied in a moving lane of traffic near the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounce the female deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
