Kansas City area maintenance work for Sept. 9-13

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Sept. 9-13. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Colbern Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., Sept. 9 until Wed., Sept. 11 and on Fri., Sept. 13, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work."

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 131 between Holden and Missouri Highway 2: flagging operations from Mon., Sept. 9 until Thu., Sept. 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

U.S. Highway 23 between Interstate 70 and Missouri Highway 20: flagging operation on Mon., Sept. 9, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

U.S. Highway 24 bridge over Tabo Creek between Lexington and Dover: flagging operation from Mon., Sept. 9 until Thu., Sept. 12, from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for bridge deck repair.

Route F between US-24 and MO-20: flagging operation on Thu., Sept. 12, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route O between US-50 and Route N: flagging operation from Mon., Sept. 9 until Thu., Sept. 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

PLATTE COUNTY

Route Z: Various closures in September: TRAFFIC ALERT: Closures scheduled on MO Route Z in Platte County, September | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org)

RAY COUNTY

Various locations east of Richmond: various closures from Mon., Sept. 9 until Fri., Sept. 13, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work with Ray County Road and Bridge.

  • Flagging operation on Missouri Highway 10 between Missouri Highway 210 and S Camden St.
  • Flagging operation on Business Highway 10 between MO-10 and Valley Dr.
  • Full closures on Swafford Rd. and W 104th between Bus. 10 and MO-10.

Route E between Route A and Route PP: flagging operation from Tue., Sept. 10 until Wed., Sept. 11, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for seal coating.

SALINE COUNTY

Route N between U.S. Highway 65 and County Road 416: flagging operation from Tue., Sept. 10 until Thu., Sept. 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
