Kyndryl supports Taiju Life's next-generation IT system operation

TOKYO, November 27, 2024 - Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced that its IT outsourcing contract with Taiju Life has been renewed until December 2029. Kyndryl will support the operation of Taiju Life's next-generation IT systems and promote IT modernization to strengthen the company's management base.

Taiju Life has formulated the Medium-Term Management Plan 2026, "Moving Forward with Full Force - Together with Customers for the 100th Anniversary and Beyond," and it is working to strengthen the provision of value to customers and society and to strengthen the management base. Specifically, as one of the ways to strengthen the management base, it has set forth a gradual review of the system structure to make it more efficient, and it is working to develop an information utilization infrastructure and build next-generation system infrastructure.

Kyndryl has renewed its IT outsourcing contract with Taiju Life through December 2029. It will facilitate the operation of next-generation IT systems by leveraging the skills and knowledge gained from over 20 years of supporting Taiju Life's IT infrastructure. For example, Kyndryl will enhance operations related to cloud utilization by using network hubs that are easy to link with the cloud environment and data centers equipped with the latest technology. Kyndryl Consult also provides advisory services to help build and execute their its strategic technology roadmap. In addition, Kyndryl will promote IT modernization to realize high-quality and stable next-generation IT systems by supporting the optimal use of digital human resources, operational efficiency, management efficiency and advanced security measures to further advance operations.
