Tox-Away Day

Tox Away Day is for the general public of Henry County. Please bring proof of residency. Businesses, farms, municipalities, and schools may participate by making PRIOR arrangements with Henry County Recycles at least one week in advance. The line is often long, so please be patient and respectful of others. We will accept, free of charge, up to 10 gallons of the following: household cleaners, flammables, pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides, acids and bases, corrosives, aerosols, oil filters, antifreeze, brake fluids, cleaners, household and rechargeable batteries, fluorescent and CFL bulbs and oil-based paints (latex paint can be dried out and placed in the trash). We also accept up to 10 gallons of used motor oil. Up to 6 auto tires free (additional tires $2 each). Up to 4 semi tires free (additional $5 each). Up to two farm tires under 54 inces free (additional $15 each).
