City To Host Public Meeting to Get Input ON HUD Pro Housing Grant Application

The City of South Bend Department of Community Investment will host a public meeting on Wednesday, October 9 from 6-8pm at the Technology Resource Center to gather public input on its application for a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant application, titled "Western Avenue Transformation District." The narrative requests funding for the redevelopment of the Rabbi Shulman building and nearby vacant land. It can be viewed online both Spanish and English at together.southbendin.gov/hudprohousing

Members of the public can also provide feedback online at together.southbendin.gov/hudprohousing. Hard copies of the narrative will be available during the meeting.
