Marquette is again ranked in the top 20% among national universities at No. 86 in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. Marquette is tied with four institutions: Drexel University, Howard University, University of Delaware and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Marquette once again made the peer-nominated list for Best Undergraduate Teaching, moving up two spots to No. 17 - the third year the university has placed in the top 20. The university is ranked 38th among Most Innovative Schools - the second straight year Marquette has finished in the top 40. These rankings are based on nominations from presidents, provosts and deans of admission.
Marquette is ranked 51st on the list of Best Value Schools and 54th for Best Colleges for Veterans.
The university is also noted among U.S. News' undergraduate college- and program-specific rankings, which are based solely on peer assessment scores, rather than publicly available data.
U.S. News graduate program rankings are released each spring.
