Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town of Newburgh, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed the Nob Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant Disinfection Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of a recirculating media filter package plant and UV disinfection system at an existing wastewater treatment plant to meet new effluent limitations for CBOD5, Ammonia (as N), Fecal Coliform, and Total Residual Chlorine as set in the latest SPDES permit. The project is located on Peach Terrance in the City of Newburgh in New York.
