City of Denton Opens Applications for Community Development Grant Program

Denton, TX, Dec. 10. 2024. - The City of Denton's Community Development Department is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for Housing and Public Facility Projects through the 2025-2026 Community Development Grant Program. Applications for Human Services Projects under the same program will open on Dec. 16, 2024, and both application types will close on Jan. 17, 2025.

Nonprofit organizations that serve low to moderate-income residents that interested in applying are required to attend a virtual application training session on Dec. 19, 2024, at 11:30 a.m.

Key Application Dates:

-Dec. 2, 2024: Applications opened for Housing and Public Facility Projects
-Dec. 16, 2024: Applications open for Human Services Projects
-Dec. 19, 2024: Mandatory Virtual Application Training
-Jan. 17, 2025: Application period closes for all projects
