DALLAS - Dallas ISD is ramping up recruitment efforts. From Nov. 9-15, district representatives will travel to Latin America as part of the annual visa informational trip. District team members will visit Mexico and Colombia to share teaching opportunities and connect with prospective future educators.

SOC student takes school spirit to new heights
Ki'Zydreeck F., a sophomore at South Oak Cliff High School, has blended his roles as a cheerleader and band member to captivate audiences with his signature stunt. While members of the cheer squad lift him in the air, Ki'Zydreeck plays a melody on his 20-pound bass drum. Since debuting this standout routine during the homecoming game, his unique performance has made him a school favorite.
