Health Alert: Stanley Jr. Kids Wheelbarrow and 7-Piece Garden Set Recall

A recall has been issued for the long hoe and rake in the Stanley Jr. Kids Wheelbarrow and 7-piece Garden Set due to a lead poisoning hazard. This set, sold at Costco, includes a wheelbarrow, apron, gloves, rake, hoe, and hand tools. The recalled hoe and rake have yellow wooden handles with "Stanley Jr." printed on them in black. The metal parts of the hoe and rake are painted black. Only these two tools are included in the recall, not the entire set.

What to Do

If you have this garden set, stop using the long hoe and rake right away. You can get free replacements by visiting the Red Toolbox recall website. To receive your replacements, you'll need to fill out a form and upload pictures showing that you've thrown away the recalled items and the white label on the bottom of the wheelbarrow, which should show the manufacturing date of December 2023.

So far, no injuries have been linked to this recall.

Where It Was Sold

The garden set was sold exclusively at Costco stores and on Costco's website between February 2024 and June 2024, priced at about $35.
