School Zone Testing Aug. 5-9

It's almost time for the kiddos to go back to school! Garland Independent School District's first day back is Monday, Aug. 12.

To get ready for the new school year, our crossing guards will be training the week of Aug. 5-9. You'll see school zone flashers blinking in the mornings and afternoons.

Remember to slow down, yield to people in crosswalks and put down those cellphones in active school zones. Let's make sure to keep our kids safe. Do your part!
