Some County Government Services Moving to Temporary Location

St. Charles County-- Starting September 5, some services usually offered at the St. Charles County Government Administration Building will move temporarily to a new location.

This will affect anyone:

  • Getting a merchant's license
  • Getting a liquor license
  • Dropping off a bid for a County project
  • Dropping off documents for the County Registrar
  • Dropping off Smartt Field Airport rent payments
  • Getting sworn in as a notary public (new and renewal)

The changes are scheduled to run from September 5 through September 20.

Instead of going to the County Administration Building at 201 North Second Street in St. Charles, you'll go to the County's Emergency Operations Center at 1400 TR Hughes Blvd in O'Fallon.

County staff will be standing by to help you when you get to the EOC building.

These services are being temporarily relocated due to HVAC work at the Administration Building. Other services, including Senior Tax Relief processing, marriage licenses, etc., will continue to be available at the Administration Building.
